Creating and Pinning an App.

The following guide will help you to turn an ordinary webpage into an app that you can pin to your taskbar for easy access.

1. Open the Microsoft Edge web browser and navigate to the site you want to pin. (For this example, I will be using the school district’s website.
   
   
   
2. Click on the three dots noted by the red circle.
   
   
   
3. Click on the Apps menu to expand it.
   
   
   
4. Click on: Install this site as an app.
   (Certain sites like YouTube and Spotify will have the site’s name rather than “this site”)
   
   
   
5. Give your new app a friendly name and click the install button.
   
   
   
6. The last popup will appear, and here you will want to make sure there is a check mark in the box next to Pin to Taskbar, then click allow.
   
   
   
7. You will now see the sites icon pinned to your taskbar and you may re-arrange it by clicking and holding, then dragging it to the spot you want.
