Question:

Several users are getting this error indicator...

Answer:

We recently moved a bunch of files around on the server causing some sync issues. This is not stopping anyone from uploading or syncing files, but is definitely annoying. I've noticed this on a few others and have been able to get it resolved fairly easily.

To resolve this issue, we need to close one drive and remove the conflicting files/folders from your computer then reboot.

1. Close OneDrive
  • Click on the OneDrive icon on the taskbar
  • Click the Gear Icon in the top-right of the pop-up
  • Click "Quit OneDrive" and it will ask if you are sure. Select "Close OneDrive"

2. Delete the old/conflicting files
  • Open File Explorer
  • Navigate to: Reedsport School District in the left sidebar
  • Right-click Reedsport Schools - District Files, Select Delete

Once the files have been deleted, restart the computer. OneDrive will re-synchronize all the files and the error should be cleared. **The sync process may take up to 8hrs**
