This guide shows you how to turn an ordinary webpage into a standalone app that can be pinned to your taskbar for one-click access.
Launch Microsoft Edge and navigate to the website you want to pin. (Example: the Reedsport School District’s homepage.)
Click the three dots menu in the top-right corner of Edge.
Hover over or click Apps to expand the options.
Select Install this site as an app. Some sites (like YouTube or Spotify) will show their name instead of “this site.”
Give your new app a friendly name (e.g., “District Website”) and click Install.
A final popup will appear. Make sure the box for Pin to Taskbar is checked, then click Allow.
You will now see the website’s icon on your taskbar. You can rearrange it by clicking and dragging it to your preferred spot.
