Adding School Fee Code to Synergy
To add a new fee code, search for School Fee Codes in the Quick Launch box at the top of the Synergy screen. That will take you to the following page:
About halfway down, there is a section that says School Defined Fee Codes, if you click the +Add button next to it, the following screen will come up:
Fill out fields 1, 2 and 3. The Code you can just use shorthand and make something up, there are preset categories to choose from, if you don’t see the one you want, please let us know and we’ll add the proper categories. Then the description is where you want to put your detail such as 22-23 Student Body Fee. That is all that you need to fill in on this page.
Hit Save when done and it should take you back to the list. The new code is now available to use.
*You may need to logout and back in if the new code doesn’t show up when you try to assign it to a student.
