πΊ Using the Poly Studio X70 for School Board Meetings
Microsoft Teams β Touch Panel Instructions
π’ Starting the Meeting
- π Wake Up the System
Tap the Touch Panel to wake the TV and camera. The Poly Studio X70 powers on automatically β no need to use a remote.

Find the Meeting
On the Touch Panel calendar, look for the event labeled School Board Meeting.
- βΆοΈ Join
Tap Join to enter the meeting. Audio and video will connect automatically.
Info: The Poly system automatically adjusts the camera and microphones for the room. No extra setup is needed.
π¬ Showing the Chat Window (Optional)
- π² Tap the Layout Grid Icon
It looks like four small squares on the meeting screen.
- π’ Toggle Chat ON
This enables the chat panel so you can follow text messages alongside the meeting.
π΄ Ending the Meeting
- π Hang Up
Tap the red Hang Up button on the Touch Panel to leave the meeting.
- π΄ Automatic Power Down
The TV and Poly device will enter sleep mode on their own. No manual shutdown is required.
Tip: If another meeting is scheduled, simply leave the system idle β it will wake up again automatically when needed.
β οΈ If the TV Doesnβt Wake Up Properly
- π₯οΈ Use the TV Remote
Locate the TV remote control.
- π Select Input
Press the Input or Source button.
- Choose
POLY_VCONF
Select the input labeled POLY_VCONF
to bring back the Microsoft Teams screen connected to the Poly system.
Warning: Do not press the Power button on the TV or Poly system unless directed by IT. This can disrupt future meetings.
