Logging in to Frontline with Entra ID (Single Sign-On)

Frontline is now connected to Microsoft Entra ID (SSO), making the login process much simpler. Follow the steps below depending on the device you are using.


Windows Computers (District-Managed)

  • Open Edge or Chrome.
  • Open the RSD Bookmarks folder on the bookmarks bar and click Frontline.
  • You should be signed in automatically with your district Microsoft account. No password entry required.
Info: If you are taken to a Frontline sign-in page, always choose the Sign in with Microsoft option rather than trying to use a separate username and password.

Chromebooks or Personal Computers

  1. Go to app.frontlineeducation.com.
  2. On the sign-in page, click Sign in with Microsoft (or your organization’s SSO option).
  3. Enter your full district email address and Microsoft password if prompted.
  4. Approve the MFA prompt if requested.
Tip: If you only see a “Frontline ID” login screen, back out and select the Microsoft/SSO option instead.

Mobile Devices (Phones/Tablets)

  1. Install the Frontline Education app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  2. Open the app and tap Get Started or Sign In.
  3. Choose Sign in with Microsoft (your organization’s SSO).
  4. Enter your district email address and password, and approve MFA if prompted.
Info: Using the app is the easiest way to access Frontline from a mobile device. Once signed in, you usually won’t need to re-enter credentials.

Troubleshooting

  • Not seeing the RSD Bookmarks folder? Contact IT Support to have your browser profile synced.
  • Looping or error when signing in? Clear your browser cache and try again, or switch browsers.
  • Stuck on the Frontline ID login? Always select the Sign in with Microsoft option.
